Throw and Go Waterproof Drone

Drones with built in or attachable GoPro cameras are very hot right now. Yes flying over water is very cool but I have always wondered what happens when it drops in the water. Why would they not make a waterproof drone, well here you go.

Not officially released until early 2016 but you can pre-order now at about half price. It comes with a wrist worn tracking device, you throw it in the air to launch it, and it follows you wherever you go.

NTI's Factory Restore Drives Save the Day!

Every QuadStation system comes equipped with a very unique secondary hard drive called an FRD drive, short for Factory Restore Drive.  Think of this extra hard drive like a safety net in case something goes wrong. The FRD drive is completely bootable, so in the event of a hard drive or software issue you are covered. Simply connect the FRD drive to the primary position and your system will be restored back to factory state in minutes! During production, after all quality control inspections have passed and just before the system is prepared for shipping, the main hard drive is removed. A 'clone' is made of the main drive and copied over to a FRD drive, and mounted inside the system. The FRD remains disconnected for a good reason, to keep it pristine. This way if you get a virus for example on the main drive, your FRD drive remains unaffected. In many cases, our FRD's literally save the day in what would otherwise be an extremely stressful event.

Battle of the Browsers

There are really only three major contenders in internet browsers. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. We test all of them side by side on a daily basis using a wide variety of websites in a heavy multitasking environment. 


The competition is getting fierce as all of them are getting less and less forgiving on feature content. That is to say, that if you do not have the very latest browser update, you may find that you are not  able to view a video, flash plugin or other media.


For example Internet Explorer v10, a rock solid favorite up until recently displayed all media content on any website no problem. Now it requires an update to flash to display a basic Youtube video.

Also remember  that plugins such as Flash, Java, ActiveX etc are all used in conjunction with your browser to display content. So if suddenly you are no longer able to play an MSN video clip for example, chances are one of your plugins needs to be updated.
