The Road Ahead ...

Microsoft has Windows 10 in the works, and slated to be launched on July 29, 2015. After that, expect the usual 6-12 months of Microsoft bug fixes that will follow and that pushes it into 2016 sometime (in the real world).

There was talk about Windows 9 but they seemed to skip right over it (wonder why) and putting all efforts into Windows 10. Particularly with new operating systems NTI takes a very conservative approach. Let everyone else be the guinea pig, we will wait until all of the kinks are worked out before we start kicking the tires.

So for now Windows 7 64bit is still the king of operating systems as of this writing. If anything changes with that we will be sure to let you know.

So, should you do anything right now? No, not if you are currently running Windows 7 Professional, stay where you are all is right with the world. If you are still on Windows XP you need to upgrade as soon as possible, contact us today.
